Meals on Wheels of NEPA is committed to nourishing the body, mind, and spirit of older adults and individuals with disabilities across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Every day, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers prepares and delivers nutritious meals while providing essential companionship, safety checks, and connections to community resources. We go beyond meal delivery to address social isolation, support independent living, and ensure our participants remain connected and cared for. Our innovative programs, like the Treasured Friends Furever Pet Program, extend care to participants’ beloved pets—helping people and their furry companions stay together and healthy. Through collaboration with local partners and a focus on compassion, kindness, and adaptability, Meals on Wheels of NEPA strives to be a leader in community-based care. Our mission is simple but powerful: no neighbor should ever feel hungry, alone, or unsupported.
