About Measles & Rubella Partnership

M&RP is committed to ensuring no child dies from measles or is born with congenital rubella syndrome. Founded in 2001, M&RP allies with countries looking to improve access to life-saving vaccines for all children. M&RP supports countries in providing measles and rubella vaccines in several ways such as providing timely resources and support to respond to outbreaks, developing new vaccine technologies and innovation, and coordinating high-quality vaccination campaigns to vaccinate children who have not received doses via the routine system. M&RP is a partnership between American Red Cross, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gavi the Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, the United Nations Foundation, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO).
