About Media City Academy

South Africa’s first creative academy based inside a working production studio. Here, learning goes beyond the classroom. MCA students train on real sets, with real professionals, inside the iconic Media City Studios — home to top TV and film productions. Our accredited programmes, recognised by MICT SETA and SAQA, are designed to build confident, industry-ready creators through a 70% practical and 30% theory approach. Whether you’re in Grade 11, Grade 12, or looking to study part-time online, MCA connects passion with real-world experience.
