About MEDIA Desk Suisse

MEDIA Desk Suisse was created to carry out the promotion of the European Union’s funding programme for the audio-visual industry – MEDIA – in Switzerland. Since the end of the Swiss participation in the programme in 2014, the Desk runs the Swiss MEDIA compensating measures on behalf of the Swiss Federal Office of Culture. It offers several national funding schemes with an international scope, intended for Swiss producers, distributors, festivals, markets, film education and training programmes. Its mission is: Funding, consulting, and networking in a European context.
