Medical Adjustment Services, LLC (MAS) is a medical reviewcompany providing services for the adjustment of medical expenses incurred by Jones Act seaman and other injured employees. Since the insurance coverage for the Jones Act seaman does not have a fee schedule, it is an intangible area of payment for services provided. Negotiations with providers can be done either before services are rendered to the patient, or after. We specialize in servicing the area between what is billed or estimated by the medical provider and what is concluded to comply with the mandate of Reasonable and Necessary for Jones Act claims, as well as Worker's Compensation claims. A signed agreement is obtained on each and every medical bill we negotiate to alleviate the possibility of a medical provider attempting to seek additional payment from the injured employee, his employer, as well as the insurance carrier.
