About Medical Emergency Education Project

The Medical Emergency Education Project (MEEP) is a student-led initiative dedicated to addressing gaps in emergency medical services (EMS) within underserved communities. Founded with a mission to empower bystanders to become first responders, MEEP provides free, hands-on CPR and Stop the Bleed workshops for middle and high school students in the Inland Empire. Since its inception, MEEP has: Trained over 500 students across 10+ schools, turning knowledge into action. Inspired future healthcare leaders through exposure to emergency medical training. Bridged gaps in health equity by ensuring lifesaving skills are accessible to all. Our workshops not only provide practical emergency response skills but also build confidence, promote health literacy, and foster a community-centric approach to public health. By empowering individuals with tools to save lives, MEEP creates ripple effects that extend far beyond the classroom. Through collaborations with local schools, educators, and health organizations, MEEP is setting a precedent for integrating emergency preparedness into education. We believe that everyone—regardless of background—can make a meaningful difference in critical moments. Learn more about our impact and join us in building safer, more resilient communities
