Our Mission: To empower the next generation of medical innovators by providing the platform, resources, and connections required to develop their visionary ideas and lay a path to commercialization. The Med Innovation Expo was born to bridge the gap between brilliant ideas from medical students and residents (co-led by engineering) and the resources needed to bring them to market. We connect emerging talent with the partners, investors, and expert guidance necessary to transform concepts into clinical solutions. The Competition: We host a premier pitch competition for U.S.-based medical students, residents, nursing and engineering students focused on innovations with a clear path to commercialization, such as those following the FDA 510(k) pathway. With $50,000 in total prizes, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to industry leaders, we provide a vital launchpad for turning visionary ideas into impactful ventures. Who We Are: Our organization is led by a dedicated team and guided by an expert advisory and evaluation committee of physicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, and legal advisors who ensure every application is reviewed with deep expertise.
