About Melching, Inc.

Melching Makes Way. Since 1992, Melching has been clearing the way for what’s next. We’re an experienced demolition contractor specializing in industrial demolition, environmental cleanup, and site redevelopment across Michigan and the Midwest. From shuttered manufacturing plants to high-risk, contaminated sites, we take on the jobs others won’t touch, and we get them done safely, efficiently, and by the book. We’re more than demolition. Melching is a full-service partner providing complete solutions from tear-down to environmental remediation to site preparation. Every phase of work is performed by our own crews and equipment, no subcontractors, no red tape, no excuses. Our mission is simple: make land safe, usable, and valuable again. We believe contaminated and idle properties shouldn’t sit for decades. With the right expertise and equipment, we turn liabilities into opportunities for new development. For over 30 years, general contractors, developers, municipalities, and industrial clients have trusted Melching for our ability to manage complex demolition projects, navigate environmental regulations, and deliver results on time and on budget. Safety isn’t a box we check, it’s the standard we live by. Every project is guided by a culture of responsibility and compliance that protects our people, partners, and communities. From heavy industrial demolition to environmental remediation and full-site redevelopment, Melching delivers results that clear the path for progress. Because when we’re on the job, you can count on one thing— Melching Makes Way.
