I help brands make their content clearer, more meaningful and easier to trust. After several years freelancing, I founded my consultancy in 2015. Since then, I’ve combined independent consulting with 5+ years in-house and agency experience, before returning to my business. That mix shapes how I work today. I understand how content needs to function inside real organisations, across teams, tools and commercial pressures, not just how it reads on the page. I bring 17+ years of experience across copywriting, UX writing, content design and content marketing, working with B2B and B2C brands across SaaS, fintech, payments, retail, fashion, restoration technology and property services. Hero work includes a global email campaign for Coach that generated $30M in sales and acquired 1.4M new customers, a loyalty programme revamp for Imperial Brands that increased revenue by 109%, UX content delivery for eBay’s Global Creative Studio, and long-form thought leadership for Visa Value-Added Services published via Forbes, Financial Times and Wikipedia. I've also support brands including Bellrock, Aptean and DocuSketch with website copy, SEO-led editorial, product storytelling and executive ghostwriting. My strengths sit in ideation, editorial judgement and execution. That includes shaping tone of voice, writing lifecycle and email campaigns, producing SEO-led long-form content, and delivering accessible UX copy that supports clarity and action. I’m comfortable moving fast on complex briefs, and equally effective in longer-term partnerships where consistency and trust matter. I’m a dual British–Canadian citizen with the right to work in both regions and I work with clients internationally.
