About Memphis Library Foundation

Fueling imagination and innovation – Memphis Library Foundation elevates Memphis Public Libraries’ branches beyond books by unlocking new opportunities for discovery and connection. Even though the Memphis Public Libraries are publicly funded, tax dollars only cover so much. Anything above and beyond basics like building maintenance and staff salaries? That’s where we come in! Imagine what a library could be – a place to learn, a place to connect, a place to be amazed, a place to invent, a place to experience something new. We’re in the business of saying “Yes!” to all the ways that libraries can enhance the lives of every person in Memphis. New collections, innovative programs, community events and even new library branches – we encourage you to open your imagination and explore how your local library is more than a library. #ImagineMore
