Mengo Hospital, founded on 22 February 1897, is a Christian Hospital run by the Church of Uganda. It is a 300-bed referral hospital comprising four major disciplines: medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and surgery. It manages outpatient and inpatient services, as well as specialized services such as ophthalmology, dentistry, orthopaedics, HIV/AIDS care, and counselling.
