About Mentors For Fatherless Children And Abused Families

Mentors for Fatherless Children and Abused Families (MFCAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Central Florida, dedicated to strengthening youth and families through mentorship, emotional intelligence, and community-based intervention. Founded in 2021, MFCAF was created to address the growing challenges of fatherlessness, family instability, and youth exposure to trauma by providing consistent guidance, structured support, and real-life opportunities for growth. Our organization operates through a hybrid staffing model consisting of paid personnel and dedicated volunteer professionals who serve in key operational and programmatic roles. Through our core initiatives Healthy Homes, Pathways to Purpose, and Champions of Unity, we deliver holistic programming that integrates emotional intelligence training, life skills development, career readiness, and family engagement. We partner with local schools, Neighborhood Centers for Families, and community organizations to meet youth where they are and guide them toward stability, purpose, and long-term success. MFCAF’s model is rooted in prevention and transformation. We provide one-on-one and group mentorship, case management, workforce exposure, and behavioral support for youth ages 10–24 and their families. By addressing both the individual and their environment, we create measurable outcomes in improved decision-making, increased school engagement, and reduced risk of delinquency. Our long-term vision is to establish neighborhood-based intervention homes and a centralized intervention center that serve as safe spaces for mentorship, education, and crisis response. With a focus on sustainable impact, MFCAF is building a scalable model that can be replicated across communities to reduce generational cycles of trauma and poverty. We are actively seeking private funding partners who are committed to investing in prevention, family stability, and youth empowerment. Together, we can create lasting change!
