About MERIT Brewing Company

MERIT Brewing Company is a brewery, kitchen, and bottle shop located in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Inspired by tradition but driven to break the rules, we craft flavour-forward beer as self-described “fifth ingredient brewers,” layering creativity, technique, and story into every batch. Our kitchen follows the same philosophy — thoughtful, ingredient-driven food designed to stand alongside our beer at the highest level. Rooted in purpose and community, MERIT is built on Hamilton’s spirit of innovation, hard work, and pride. We honour the city’s past while continually pushing boundaries to help shape its future.
