The Mestenhauser Institute for International Collaboration (MIIC) is a non-profit based in the Czech Republic under the leadership of its Founder, Dr. Eva Janebova, in collaboration with colleagues across Europe and the USA and with the support of the Mestenhauser family. It is governed by a Board of Directors and supervised by an International Advisory Board comprising senior experts from around the world who will monitor the institute's quality, strategic direction, and ethical code. The Main Areas of Focus • Flagship Mestenhauser Legacy Programs to promote the legacy of Prof. Mestenhauser: Mestenhauser Communities, Mestenhauser Research Fellows, and Mestenhauser Student Awards in Europe; • Educational activities and consulting services to improve teaching and learning and the international dimension of organizations; • Research and advocacy in international education to support the quality of practice. Why MIIC? Time has resulted in a loss of emphasis on the values and goals of Prof. Mestenhauser - to create global citizens through education that transcends borders, bridging diverse cultures, and fostering mutual respect among nations. MIIC was established in Joe Mestenhauser's motherland to revitalize his core values worldwide. We aim to extend his legacy within the field of International Education and make international education genuinely inclusive and global.
