About Metamorphosis Agency

Metamorphosis Agency helps authors build sustainable brands and launch books successfully—without draining their budgets on expensive, cookie-cutter marketing plans. THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE Authors routinely spend $10K, $20K, even $30K+ on "bespoke" marketing plans that turn out to be recycled templates with their name swapped in. Meanwhile, the marketing work that actually matters—the execution—never gets funded because the budget died on a PDF. Most authors don't know where to start with marketing, and they can't tell the difference between a real strategy and expensive snake oil. THE PLAYBOOK: AI-POWERED MARKETING INTELLIGENCE We built The Playbook (theplaybook.io) to change this. It's an AI-powered marketing platform that delivers truly customized strategies for authors. What makes it different: - Proprietary SLM trained on insights from a consortium of NYTimes bestselling and award-winning authors - Comprehensive Q&A process that captures your book's essence, audience, resources, and goals - 100% customized strategy specific to your book and budget, not generic AI output - Proven methodology with measurable results Our authors make bestseller lists, win major literary awards, and reach their audiences meaningfully. One achieved a Pulitzer Prize. TWO WAYS TO WORK WITH US 📚 Self-Guided: Use The Playbook independently with our guided courseware. Get the marketing intelligence you need at a price that saves your budget for actual marketing. 🚀 Agency-Supported: Scale up with Metamorphosis for consulting and execution. We handle the initiatives your Playbook recommends when you need specialized marketing skills or simply don't have the time. BEYOND AUTHORS While our primary focus is authors, we also serve small businesses, nonprofits, and creative professionals (particularly musicians) who need strategic marketing without the corporate price tag.
