About Metric Devices

Metric Devices was founded to address gaps in measurement and instrumentation. We develop novel devices for applications where quantitative tools have been lacking or nonexistent. Our team combines expertise in materials engineering, product development, and applied science to bring new measurement capabilities from idea to production. Our flagship product is the Splayometer - the first instrument purpose-built for measuring finger and hand extension and abduction force. It delivers objective, repeatable numerical data for an assessment that previously relied entirely on subjective evaluation. Learn more at https://www.splayometer.com.
