About METROPOLITAN AREA RELIGIOUS COALITION OF CINCINNATI

For nearly 60 years, MARCC has been providing an organizing platform for its judicatories—local, decision-making bodies of national religious denominations—to set aside their religious differences and collaborate annually on a few local social concerns to improve local, state, and sometimes federal policies that benefit the lives of vulnerable people within the Metropolitan Cincinnati area. Since the beginning, MARCC has worked effectively behind the scenes with City Council, Cincinnati Police Department, Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority, Cincinnati Public Schools, and Hamilton County Jobs and Family Services, among other influential decision-making institutional and administrative bodies.
