About Mexican American Cultural Center

The mission of the El Paso Mexican American Cultural Center is to celebrate the dynamic traditions and resiliency of our border cultures through vibrant arts experiences and creative engagement. The Mexican American Cultural Center is a cultural institution housed under the Museum and Cultural Affairs Department’s umbrella. In 2012, El Paso voters approved a Quality of Life Bond program, which included the Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC) as one of its signature projects. The MACC provides residents and visitors with a dynamic space for the creation, exhibition and celebration of Mexican American art and culture.
