Mia Cucina Food Maps is a new innovative digital resource, providing a live, interactive food guide. Pinned with all our favourite food destinations, the Food Map highlights the best local produce, cafes, and bars, including opening hours, reviews, images, and contact details, with driving and walking directions, so users can plan, and book ahead before leaving home. Our aim is twofold: one, to showcase the most diverse and often unexplored food, and two, to maintain these local businesses to be sustainable, providing growth to these diverse and cultural operations. In all our years in the tourism and hospitality industry, we have seen so many family businesses close, due to the lack of foot traffic in the laneways and back streets of suburbs. Our first-ever Mia Cucina Food Map was in support of regional NSW, after the devastating bushfires in the Southern Highlands in 2019. The development of this Food Map was to promote tourism and hospitality, in the growth and awareness of these iconic towns and regions, as Australia is the most successful multicultural society in the world, uniting a multitude of cultures, beliefs, and experiences.
