About MIAM Immersive space

MIAM is a new immersive creation space located in a former bunker at La Poya in Fribourg. Dedicated to research, multimedia production, and interdisciplinary creation, MIAM places a strong focus on spatialized music and sonic exploration. Equipped with a unique 32-loudspeaker system - the only one of its kind in Switzerland - this modular space offers artists, researchers, and audiences the opportunity to experience sound in unprecedented ways. Hidden beneath the city, MIAM is both a laboratory and a playground where disciplines intersect, boundaries dissolve, and imagination takes center stage.
