About Miami Children's Chorus

The Miami Children’s Chorus is proud to be South Florida’s longest standing choral organization and Miami’s premier youth chorus. Entering its 55th season the MCC continues to raise the standard for youth choral arts with programs that push the boundaries of choral music. In weekly rehearsals children receive training in healthy vocal techniques, ear training, sight singing, movement, stage presence, and explore a wide range of musical styles and languages. This rigorous training affords them opportunities to collaborate with world-class musicians and composers and to perform in premier performance venues around the world. MCC has a track record for successful, star-studded events that have entertained families and donors, as well as providing a valuable experience to its students. The Miami Children's Chorus is a 501 c3 non-profit organization. The Miami Children’s Chorus is supported, in part, by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners; the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture; the City of Coral Gables; the City of Miami Beach, Cultural Affairs Program, Cultural Arts Council; and through contributions from local businesses, foundations, and individuals.
