About Michigan Islamic Sports Association

The Michigan Islamic Sports Association (MISA) is a certified 501-(c) (3) non-profit organization committed to promoting the values of Islam through sports and physical activity. Our mission is to empower communities through sports by providing access to equipment, facilities, and training programs while promoting the values of Islam. MISA aims to create a network for young Muslims and interfaith members to connect through athletic competition while fostering understanding of Islam. Through partnerships with local organizations, and with the help of donors and sponsors, MISA seeks to promote physical well-being and engage in faith-based outreach through public service and education events.
