About Michigan State Women's Hockey

The MSU Women's ACHA D1 Hockey Team was formed in the spring of 1995 as the first women's ACHA hockey team in Michigan. The team has had 4 ACHA Final Four and 16 National Tournament appearances and were CCWHA Conference Playoff Champions in ‘02, ‘03, and ‘13. MSUWH went on to win the ACHA National Championship in ‘03 and ‘11 and were runners-up in ‘05 & ‘10. The current team consists of 19 players, 2 goalies, and 3 coaches. This team is entirely player-run, with an executive board made up of President Gracie Anderson (18), Vice President Mia Galassini (9), Treasurer Claire Leonard (4), and Fundraising Chair Allie Nelson (13). Over the past four years, the program has taken major strides toward becoming a more cohesive, competitive, and well-cultured family.
