About Midwest Women Entrepreneurs Collective

Our mission is to empower women entrepreneurs by connecting them with mentors, business leaders, and a strong professional network. We provide education in financial literacy, business development, AI, and technology tools. By fostering community and spotlighting women-owned businesses, we ensure entrepreneurship is never a solo journey—driving visibility, recognition, and lasting success. -Our Mission & Goals- MWEC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to: ✅ Building Connections – Linking women entrepreneurs with one another, mentors, and business leaders who can open doors. ✅ Providing Education & Resources – Offering training in financial education, business development, AI, and technology tools to empower women at all levels. ✅Entrepreneurship should never be a Solo Journey- Encouraging collaboration and perseverance to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. ✅ Advocating for Visibility & Support – Ensuring that women-owned businesses are recognized as essential drivers of economic growth and innovation. MWEC will be spotlighting members and their businesses on all social media platforms. -The SBA Reports- 📌 Nebraska is home to over 65,000 registered women-owned businesses. 📌 Iowa boasts more than 99,000 women entrepreneurs. Despite these numbers, no unifying organization existed to connect, support, and elevate these businesses. There was no single platform dedicated to providing the resources, mentorship, financial education, and advocacy that women entrepreneurs need to thrive. MWEC was born out of this need—because entrepreneurship should never be a solo journey!
