About Milford Sound Tourism Limited
The Southern Charity Hospital Trust was established in 2019 following Blair Vining’s highly-publicised battle with terminal bowel cancer. The hospital was founded by the community, for the community. The Hospital provides free services to those in the southern half of New Zealand who are unable to access care through the public or private health systems. Currently the hospital provides colonoscopies to patients from the Southern District Health Board Zone (which covers Southland and Otago), as well as daycase surgical procedures and dental care.
