PT Minahasa Cahaya Lestari ("MCL"), part of the Kalibiru Group, was established in 2017 as an Independent Power Producer (IPP). MCL contributes to electricity consumption on Sulawesi Island through a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with PT PLN (Persero). MCL owns and operates a 2x50 MW coal-fired steam power plant in Minahasa, North Sulawesi, featuring best-in-class plant design and equipment supplied by leading manufacturers.
