About Mindwave Therapy

Mindwave Therapy offers an alternative to current standards and expectations of mental health service delivery. Our goal is to provide an enhanced experience for everyone who walks through our doors, whether client or provider. Our specialty services, EMDR, DBT, and ADHD clinical services, inform and shape our values. Those with PTSD, whether complex or chronic in nature, or from a single incident, can find safety and healing at Mindwave. The four modules of DBT address difficulty regulating emotions, low tolerance for distress, and a lack of skills that lead to ineffective interpersonal relationships. Adults with undiagnosed, untreated ADHD can find daily life unbearable at times; often, it takes several misdiagnoses and failed medication trials before ADHD is even considered. Unwavering safety and acceptance is a given at Mindwave Therapy, no matter what you are seeking help for. We are on a mission to raise the bar for mental health service delivery expectations. Laying a foundation of trauma-informed care, no matter what, comes first in our aim to shift service delivery. Secondly, cut-and-paste treatment plans are unacceptable. At Mindwave Therapy, each client will collaborate on a unique and personalized outline of care with their clinician and update it consistently. Lastly and maybe most importantly, the building of meaningful, real, and honest relationships between clients and therapists-- because there’s time, energy, and space to do so.
