About Minette LCSW Psychotherapy Services PLLC

Minette Psychotherapy is a bilingual, culturally responsive mental health practice providing affirming, accessible, and clinically grounded care for BIPOC and Latinx individuals, families of children with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ communities. As a Latina‑owned, M/WBE‑certified practice, Minette sits at the intersection of culture, identity, and healing—offering a therapeutic home where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. Our work is guided by three core commitments: • Cultural humility and representation — honoring lived experiences, language, and identity while challenging systemic barriers to care. • Clinical excellence and integrity — delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based services with warmth, transparency, and professionalism. • Community impact and advocacy — expanding access to mental health support and fostering resilience across generations. We are known for our expertise in trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, family dynamics, and parenting concerns, as well as autism evaluations for children and adolescents and psychosocial evaluations for OPWDD. Our clinicians bring compassion, clinical skill, and cultural attunement to every session, creating a space where clients can grow, heal, and thrive. At Minette, we walk alongside each client—honoring their story, celebrating their strengths, and supporting their journey toward a healthier, more empowered life. We are in network with a wide range of insurance plans (listed on our website) and offer reduced or sliding‑scale rates for out‑of‑network or uninsured clients to ensure care remains accessible. Telehealth options further expand access for clients across New York and New Jersey. Minette represents trust, empowerment, and belonging. We are committed to reshaping what mental health care looks like for communities historically overlooked—and to making culturally responsive care the standard, not the exception.
