About Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme (MODHIP)

We are the Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme (In partnership with Walter Reed Army Institute of Research-Africa), committed to providing life-saving care, disease prevention, and support to the people who serve Nigeria. From frontline troops to their families, our work ensures that no one is left behind in the fight against HIV/AIDS, amongst other diseases of public health importance. MODHIP operates within military health facilities across Nigeria, helping to close critical health gaps. Our emphasis is on delivering care that is accessible, stigma-free, and effective. Our impact goes beyond Medicine. We build capacity, train professionals, conduct research, and coordinate effectively with national and international partners to create a defence health system that is as resilient as the people it serves.
