Minnalai Marine Private Limited is a Chennai-based marine technology company building the next generation of watercraft — fast, luxurious, and powered by clean energy. Founded by two IIT Madras Alumni whose partnership began at HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited), Minnalai Marine brings aerospace-grade engineering rigour to the marine world. The founders carry a combined legacy of deep-technology leadership from the corporate world coupled with relevant competencies in new product development, and have come together with one shared ambition: to redefine how people move over water. What We Do: We design, develop, prototype, and test high-performance vessels — yachts, hovercraft, and hydrofoil boats — built for commercial, recreational, and personal use. Our vessels are engineered for pure electric, hybrid, and renewable energy systems, with associated propulsion control & intelligence, storage & charging infrastructure. Where We Are: We are in our R&D phase — working with knowledge partners, building our R&D facility and test centre in Ambattur, Chennai, and laying the engineering foundations for vessels that will stand the test of time.
