About Minnesota Connect Aphasia Now

In December 2013, Minnesota Connect Aphasia Now (MnCAN) was founded as a non-profit organization dedicated to people with aphasia and their family members or friends. We are celebrating over 10 years of offering life-changing conversation practice, connection, support and education. MnCAN provides programs to over 100 people with aphasia through our 20 different groups that meet weekly. Groups are facilitated by speech language pathologists, graduate interns and volunteers. We support conversation using “whatever works." Our goal is for people with aphasia to participate successfully in life. Aphasia can be challenging, MnCAN offers hope.
