Minoan Lines SA is a Greece-based shipping company that focuses in the passenger ferry sector, serving both domestic and international sea routes. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and utilization of vessels for passenger and cargo shipping on domestic and foreign routes. Moreover, it operates in the related sectors of roll on/roll off and high speed services, tourism, commerce and information technology. The Company operates through six subsidiaries and two affiliated companies. It serves domestic routes between the ports of Piraeus and Heraklion, and also covers connections between the Italian ports of Ancona and Venice and the Greek ports of Corfu, Igoumenitsa and Patras. The Company owns a fleet of six vessels, two of which are serving Piraeus - Heraklion route and four are covering itineraries between Italy and Greece. Minoan Lines is majority owned by Grimaldi Compagnia di Navigazione S.p.a that has its domicile in Palermo, Italy.
