About Minot Brothers

Welcome to Minot Brothers Ltd — the UK’s first net‑zero plant hire company. We deliver electric and low‑emission plant that cuts carbon, cost and noise without sacrificing productivity. Led by people from the construction industry, we understand the realities of programme, budget and site constraints—and design solutions that work. Policy and advocacy We champion practical, evidence‑led policies that accelerate decarbonisation in construction. Our focus areas include NRMM standards and enforcement, clean air/CAZ requirements, PAS 2080 implementation, and public procurement (e.g., PPN 06/21). We advocate for better temporary power access on sites and clear, staged phase‑out pathways for diesel plant that protect productivity. We share real‑world data to inform consultations and industry guidance. Thought leadership We publish case studies and data insights, and provide CPD/toolbox talks for project teams. Based in Essex and serving the UK. Join us to build cleaner, quieter, more efficient sites—and to help shape sensible, sustainable construction policy. Reach out for a demo or a zero‑diesel site plan.
