Mio’s jobs and careers

About Mio’s

Since 2012 we've been providing high-quality food and coffee to the community in South Shields. We're a small, independent business with a focus on providing top-range refreshments a cut above the fare you'll find in standard chain coffee shops. Our friendly team of staff are passionate about great food and coffee done right; that's why we work hard to prepare delicious lunches, snacks and even afternoon tea using quality ingredients, often sourced from respected traders in Italy. It's an Italian tradition to take time out from the day-to-day hustle and bustle to enjoy a rich, nutty coffee and a bite of something special; our ambition is to bring this tradition to South Shields. Italians have a reputation for their excellent food and quality coffee. It's a reputation well-deserved, built upon decades of creating some of the world's favourite delicacies and timeless flavours, inspired by the gorgeous fresh produce and the bright Mediterranean sun. Caffé Mio brings the flavours and style of Italy to the streets of South Shields, importing the best ingredients and coffee we can find for a truly tempting menu of food and drinks. Thanks to our relaxed atmosphere and welcoming décor, our coffee shop is a popular choice for anyone who wants to take time out and enjoy a moment of Mediterranean hospitality.
