About Miska Creative Society

Miska Creative Society is an indigenous-led not-for-profit organization that combines artistic and cultural programming with access to industry professionals to inspire youth, build healthy communities, revive Indigenous traditions, and empower future generations. Miska Creative Society hosts art and culture workshops and events for Indigenous and marginalized communities. We meet with groups where they already gather to remove barriers for participation. Our workshops are culturally-sensitive and offer hands-on career and life education to advance equity for historically disadvantaged and often excluded individuals. Our mission is to foster vibrant and healthy communities where arts, culture and Indigenous teachings inspire individuals to overcome barriers, discover their passion and realize their full potential.
