About Mission Aviation Fellowship NZ

Millions of people cannot access basic medical care, clean water, schools, or receive the Good News of God’s love simply because it’s too dangerous or time-consuming to reach them. Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) - the dream of two Kiwis in 1945 - has now become the world’s largest humanitarian air operator. For over 75 years, we have been flying light aircraft over jungles, mountains, deserts and hostile areas to bring help, hope, and healing to the world’s most isolated people. MAF overcomes these barriers and flies 116 aircraft to 31 countries, enabling the work of over 1,400 humanitarian organisations globally. Every six minutes, our pilots and personnel deliver relief workers, doctors, pastors, school books, food, medicines – everything that can only be safely and speedily transported by air. We make impossible journeys possible through the generosity and prayers of thousands of faithful supporters worldwide. Mission Aviation Fellowship is registered with the New Zealand Charities Commission as a charitable entity under Mission Aviation Fellowship of NZ Inc (CC no. 36076)
