About Mission Direct
Mission IS Possible - For over 20 years, we've worked alongside communities across Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, supporting grassroots education projects that create lasting change. What We Do - We take volunteers on two-week trips to six countries, partnering with local communities who identify their own development needs and lead their own projects. Together, we help build and renovate schools, support teacher training, provide educational resources, and create safe learning environments for children. Our approach centres partnership, not paternalism. Communities drive their vision. Volunteers provide practical support. Together, we've helped 275,000 children access education and built 49 schools across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, India and the Philippines. Your Typical Day - Mornings are spent on construction or renovation work - no building experience needed, just willingness to Whether its Africa, Asia, or the Caribbean, you'll usually spend the morning assisting the build and then use the afternoons to visit and help at other community-led projects, such as homes for disabled children, working with street children, feeding programmes, schools, home-visits etc. Our trips are all-inclusive, with the contribution including flights, accommodation, transfers and transport in-country, insurance, all main meals and bottled water, also includes the R&R excursions at the end of your two weeks - such as Victoria Falls, Masaai Mara Safari, Angkor Wat, National Parks and more! Our trips are life-changing. Not just for the lives you go to help - you'll be changed too. Volunteer today https://missiondirect.org/volunteer/what-to-expect/
