About Modern Edge Builders, LLC

Modern Edge Builders is a Houston-based luxury residential design-build firm specializing in architecturally driven, high-performance modern homes. We believe great homes are the result of aligned thinking, not isolated decisions. Architecture, structure, building envelope, and mechanical systems must work together from the beginning to deliver comfort, durability, energy efficiency, and long-term predictability. Performance is not an upgrade or a trend; it is the natural outcome of disciplined planning and thoughtful coordination. Our builder-led design-build approach brings clarity early, when decisions have the greatest impact on cost, constructability, and long-term outcomes. By assuming whole-home responsibility from concept through completion, we protect design intent, reduce unnecessary complexity, and create a more seamless experience for our clients. Modern Edge collaborates closely with leading modern architects and specialized engineering partners to integrate proven building-science principles into every project. Optimized envelopes, ventilated assemblies, balanced fresh-air systems, and integrated HVAC strategies are carefully coordinated to address Houston’s demanding climate and deliver healthier, more resilient homes. We intentionally take on a limited number of highly customized projects each year, allowing for deep engagement, rigorous oversight, and exceptional execution. The result is a portfolio of modern luxury residences that feel better to live in, perform more predictably over time, and are built to endure for generations. Modern Edge Builders Design with Intent. Build for Performance.
