About Mohatta Palace Museum

The Mohatta Palace was built as a private sea-side residence in the 1920's. In September 1999 it opened its doors to the public as a distinguished venue for providing cultural service on many levels. The historic Mughal-Revival style palace, designed by architect Ahmed Hussain Agha, was completely renovated to serve as a museum.
