“The Montana Public Interest Research Group (MontPIRG) is a student-directed and funded non-partisan organization dedicated to affecting tangible, positive change through educating and empowering the next generation of civic leaders.” For over forty years, we have trained the next generation of leaders, providing young people with opportunities to learn valuable citizenship skills through work on public policy. Our goal is to help students become informed and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to advocate for the public interest.
