About Montgomery County Villages Consortium

The Montgomery County Villages Consortium, working with 25 active and 5 developing Montgomery County Aging-In-Place Villages, exists to support the sharing of resources to strengthen and sustain all active villages while fostering the growth of the village movement in underserved areas of the county, in order to serve the growing population of seniors who wish to age in community. Member villages are volunteer-led, grassroots organization supporting community members who choose to age-in-place in their homes. They foster social connections through activities and events and coordinate volunteer help at home using neighbor helping neighbor models.
