About MOOWD

MOOWD is an independent design studio shaping regenerative places through Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Place Engagement, and Spatial Futures. We work at the intersection of ecology, culture, and community - crafting environments that adapt, restore, and endure. Founded by Kate and Michael Cowdy, MOOWD operates as a selective, director-led practice built on clarity, creativity, and collaboration. Our work is guided by systems thinking and informed by our Living Places Framework, ensuring every project responds to the interconnected dynamics of people, nature, and place. We don’t follow conventions - we make our own way.
