About Morwell Neighbourhood House

Morwell Neighbourhood House (MNH) is a grassroots, community-led organisation located on the lands of the Brayakaulung people of the Gunaikurnai Nation, in the Latrobe Valley. For over 40 years, we’ve been a trusted local hub supporting individuals and families experiencing poverty, disadvantage, distress, or isolation in Morwell and surrounding communities. We advance social and public welfare by delivering inclusive, strengths-based programs that build resilience, independence, and community connection. Through food relief, skills development, volunteering, and social inclusion programs, we provide a space for community to connect, grounded in dignity, equity, and self-determination. We centre lived experience, amplify community voice, and work in partnership to drive meaningful, grassroots-led change.
