About Mostra Itinerante de Cinemas Negros - Mahomed Bamba

The Itinerant Exhibition of Black Cinema - Mahomed Bamba (MIMB) is an international film festival that works to broaden access to cinematic works produced by black filmmakers from the diaspora. The project aims to present new possibilities for the audiovisual market and society, showcasing alternative imaginaries and new identity representations. The festival program includes activities beyond film screenings, such as debates, masterclasses, cultural presentations, and awards to boost new creative talents, with accessibility for deaf individuals throughout the program through sign language interpretation.
