About Motherhood NG Initiative

We are a tech-driven, community-centered, and impact-led organization dedicated to improving health outcomes and dignity for all, focusing on women, children, and girls. We achieve this through a blend of grassroots outreaches and digital innovations designed to provide holistic support to pregnant women, mothers, and children. Our Impact & Programs Our work is centered on creating lasting, positive change in the lives of vulnerable populations. Our key initiatives include: Project Safe Birth: Dedicated to providing holistic support for pregnant women and new mothers, ensuring a safer birthing experience and better maternal health outcomes. Project Hope for Children: Focused on improving the health and development of children through various supportive programs. Teenage Well Project: An initiative designed to support teenage girls' health and well-being. Our Innovative Approach We leverage technology and smart processes to scale our impact and reach those who need it most: Ms Flow: An AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot designed to deliver accessible and accurate menstrual health education to teenage girls across Nigeria. Childhood Immunization Reminder: We repurpose and train mothers and pregnant women on how to use Google Calendar as a simple, effective tool for childhood immunization reminders. "Train the Trainer" Model: We empower community birth attendants through training, enabling them to educate pregnant women who visit their health centers, ensuring critical knowledge reaches deep into the community. This approach allows us to be both highly scalable through technology and deeply rooted through community engagement, maximizing our impact where it matters most.
