About Mountainiax

Mountainiax is a new exploration-based adventure company in India that embodies a unique belief. Our primary goal is to protect and reinforce the Himalayas by adopting a slow and low approach, which means maintaining a low density of people in our groups while prioritizing environmentally friendly practices. During fixed departures, our maximum group size is limited to 24 individuals, ensuring minimal impact on the environment and fostering effective communication channels with our participants. At Mountainiax, we actively promote tourism in lesser-known destinations, avoiding crowded tourist hotspots. We contribute to the local economies by organizing village tours and treks in these areas, generating employment opportunities for the locals. Our team leaders are experienced experts in exploring unmapped regions, curating exceptional solitary experiences for our clients. In an era where large trekking companies focus on expanding their businesses by accommodating large groups and luring tourists with discounted offerings, Mountainiax aims to challenge this trend. We strive to revolutionize the field of trekking by offering small group sizes and customized trips. The care and attention our guests receive from us throughout their journey reflect our commitment to warm local hospitality, expert guides, meticulous trip planners, and a unique array of exclusive experiences. We aim to make a positive impact on the world, leaving it a better place than we found it. In addition, we are proud to announce that Mountainiax has been honored with the TripAdvisor Travelers' Award for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023. This prestigious recognition reflects the exceptional experiences we provide to our valued guests. Furthermore, Mountainiax is a registered organization with the Uttarakhand Tourism Board and MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises).
