About MS Research and Relief Fund

Located in the North East, MS Research and Relief Fund (MSRRF) is dedicated to providing vital support for individuals affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and their primary caregiver. Our highly qualified team offer an extensive range of free exercise classes, physiotherapy, and complementary therapies; designed to alleviate MS symptoms and enhance fitness and mobility. In addition to our Morpeth and North Seaton centres, we provide outreach services, extending our reach across the region. On a national level, we offer grants for aids, adaptations, equipment, and services to those impacted by MS. Our main centre, Benmar House in Morpeth, hosts fitness sessions, exercise classes, and therapies, whilst The Pashler Centre is a dedicated physiotherapy centre, providing tailored exercise guidance to improve movement and overall body function for individuals with MS, featuring the state-of-the-art VIA 500 AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill. We receive no statutory funding so we're grateful for every penny that people raise for us; this is often through donations, fundraising and legacies. We also work with businesses to help achieve their corporate social responsibility objectives through sponsorship and volunteering; so if you are part of an organisation that may be interested, give us a call or drop us an email. Funding enables us to continue to provide direct financial support to improve the quality of life of individuals and their families; to continue to research into the causes and relief of MS symptoms; and to facilitate a range of therapies. Whilst we can’t cure MS, we work hard to provide ways to help our service users and to limit the impact the condition has on their lives.
