About Mud and Routes

The ultimate website for Outdoor gear and camping reviews; walking, trail running, mountain biking and cycling routes in Snowdonia, Wales and beyond. We intend to provide the UK’s largest single database of free mapped and fully explained, quality curated routes; either directly from our own walks, or as a portal to routes created on-line by independent websites and other organisations. We also have an extensive catalogue of outdoor gear reviews, all of which you can be assured are tested out in the outdoors. We consistently look to share our experience and knowledge, as well as learn from others through our Skills and Tips, Starting Out, and Five Things articles, as well as our ever popular Beast's Tip of the Week.
