Mufti is an Indian menswear brand based in Mumbai, India. The brand was founded in 1998 by Mr. Kamal Khushlani. Mufti is the largest Indian denim brand and is ranked as the 4th ‘’Most Admired Casualwear Brand’’ in the country. Mufti is marketed and distributed by its parent company ‘’ Credo Brands Marketing Pvt Ltd”. HISTORY Mufti was launched in 1998 by first generation entrepreneur Mr. Kamal Khushlani with one driving ambition, to offer an alternative dressing solution that didn’t conform to the ‘uniform’ codes of mainstream fashion. Derived from Colonial India’s armed forces, “MUFTI’’ is a term used for casual dressing as opposed to wearing a uniform. Keeping the brand’s casual wear in focus, this saw the genesis the first tagline – “Mufti – Anything Else Is Uniform”. With the growth of the brand and market over the years, the tagline was reinvented - “ Mufti- Alternative Clothing” VISION The vision and aim of the company "Credo Brands Marketing Pvt Ltd” has always been to build the first global fashion brand with Indian roots. PRODUCTS The Label started of as a casual wear brand but now offers an elaborate range of Shirts, T-shirts, Jeans, Trousers, Blazers / Outerwear & Footwear.
