About Municipality of North Grenville

The Municipality of North Grenville, comprised of Kemptville and six heritage hamlets, enjoys using its location as one of its defining characteristics. Located at the intersection of Highway 416 and County Road 43, Kemptville offers rapid access to the Nation’s Capital and the US market. Within a 30 minute radius is an international airport, an international bridge, a seaway port, Highway 401 and the main trunk of the Canadian Pacific Railway - making it the perfect destination for businesses and industries big and small. One of Eastern Ontario's fastest growing Municipalities, North Grenville boasts the titles of Ontario's Most Active Community 2022, Canada's Most Active Community 2021, and is one of the smallest communities globally to obtain WCCD’s ISO 37120 certification, revealing that we stand out for our extremely educated workforce, outstanding air quality and generous access to green space - second only to Reykjavik, Iceland in outdoor space per capita. While there is an abundance of spaces, places and four season destinations for both locals and tourists to explore - from the historical hamlets, hiking trails, golf courses and waters, to quaint eateries, markets, vineyards and old town charm, North Grenville is also home to modern retail amenities, schools, and housing developments, making it the ultimate location to explore, play, and stay.
